4 months later and Bowman has gained 10 lbs, is heart worm negative, and healthy enough to have been neutered yesterday. He is a strong humble fella who has made our home so happy. He loves our cats Lyla and Renny and his best friend is our German Shepherd, Keeva. Eating is his favorite thing to do and he is often referred to as Bo-Boy, Boo Bear...
We love you Bowman!

Bowman Found US
On our way back to Atlanta from a weekend with college friends on Folly, we made a wrong turn off of 26 in hopes of getting gas. Little did we know that our wrong turn would lead us to this precious boy. His name is Bowman, we found him in Bowman, SC.
Bowman is a treewalking coon hound.

Friends & Football
It's that time of year again...football season. My friend Bliss drove down from Chattanooga to watch the South Carolina/Georgia game. We grilled burgers, let Keeva & Barker play, and watched the game on a beautiful fall day on our porch. Neighborhood friends meandered in and out of the house to grab a beer and enjoy some front porch fun.
Gamecocks won! I was ecstatic - Ben, not so much.

Pops Birthday
Ben and I drove up to Lake Cooley to celebrate Daddy's birthday. We had a wonderful day out on the boat and cooked steaks for dinner. What a relaxing day and so glad we were able to celebrate with Pop! As you can tell - we had a lot of fun with Pop's new float. Ha!

Carter's Lake - 2nd Anniversary
One of our favorite places to camp is Carter's Lake. For our 2nd anniversary we packed up the Vanagon and head to our favorite spot, site 19. It's the most peaceful and beautiful spot on Carter's Lake in Woodring Campground. The site sits on the tip of the campground and is surrounded by water with beautiful views of the sunset over the dam. I cannot think of a better way to spend our anniversary than to be outside in this peaceful place with our pup, dancing to our favorite music by the fire, playing in the water, chasing sunsets, watching the stars, and reminiscing about our wedding day in the North GA Mountains.

John Portman stroll
Last night Ben and I decided to create our own John Portman appreciation stroll through downtown Atlanta. We went to have dinner and then drinks in the lobbies of a few of the hotels he designed. We are such fans of this architect's work and the impact he has had on the skyline of Atlanta. We were like little kids running all over these hotels close to our home in the city. Below are a few pics from a few of the atriums we visited.

Granjan & Pop Celebrate 40 years of Marriage
My Mom & Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on March 31st. All of the kids threw a surprise party for them at my sister Ellen's house before they departed Atlanta on a 4 week cross country tour. I am so happy for them and to be able to celebrate the wonderful love they have for one another. I am grateful for their example of what true love is all about.
Surprise!
Mae-Mae
Packed and ready for their cross country adventure!
