Pops Birthday

Ben and I drove up to Lake Cooley to celebrate Daddy's birthday. We had a wonderful day out on the boat and cooked steaks for dinner.  What a relaxing day and so glad we were able to celebrate with Pop!  As you can tell - we had a lot of fun with Pop's new float. Ha!

 

 

A weekend at Lake Cooley

Two weekends ago, Ben and I headed to Lake Cooley to spend the weekend with Mama and Daddy.  Keeva came with us and had the time of her life - as did Ben and I!

Friday night Grandma and Meme came over for a spaghetti dinner - Mama made her own sauce with herbs from her garden and fresh tomotoes from the Lyman farmer's market.  She also made breadsticks.  Dessert was made by Daddy - homemade peach ice cream - Delicious!

Saturday we woke to fresh coffee, bacon, and blueberry pancakes.  We all spent the day on the boat, floating in the water, and enjoying the lake.  Dump dogs of course for lunch (a hot dog joint down the street) and grilled pork chops for dinner.

Sunday we went to Daddy's country club, Links o Tryon for lunch.  We had the best time and hated to leave!
