Halloween in Grant Park

Another wonderful Halloween with trick or treaters and friends at our home in Grant Park.  Our neighbors Calliope and Oliver always make the festivities and scaring the older kids so much fun.

John Portman stroll

Last night Ben and I decided to create our own John Portman appreciation stroll through downtown Atlanta.  We went to have dinner and then drinks in the lobbies of a few of the hotels he designed.  We are such fans of this architect's work and the impact he has had on the skyline of Atlanta.  We were like little kids running all over these hotels close to our home in the city.  Below are a few pics from a few of the atriums we visited.

Granjan & Pop Celebrate 40 years of Marriage

My Mom & Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on March 31st.  All of the kids threw a surprise party for them at my sister Ellen's house before they departed Atlanta on a 4 week cross country tour.  I am so happy for them and to be able to celebrate the wonderful love they have for one another.  I am grateful for their example of what true love is all about.
