It's that time of year again...football season. My friend Bliss drove down from Chattanooga to watch the South Carolina/Georgia game. We grilled burgers, let Keeva & Barker play, and watched the game on a beautiful fall day on our porch. Neighborhood friends meandered in and out of the house to grab a beer and enjoy some front porch fun.
Gamecocks won! I was ecstatic - Ben, not so much.

Pops Birthday
Ben and I drove up to Lake Cooley to celebrate Daddy's birthday. We had a wonderful day out on the boat and cooked steaks for dinner. What a relaxing day and so glad we were able to celebrate with Pop! As you can tell - we had a lot of fun with Pop's new float. Ha!

Carter's Lake - 2nd Anniversary
One of our favorite places to camp is Carter's Lake. For our 2nd anniversary we packed up the Vanagon and head to our favorite spot, site 19. It's the most peaceful and beautiful spot on Carter's Lake in Woodring Campground. The site sits on the tip of the campground and is surrounded by water with beautiful views of the sunset over the dam. I cannot think of a better way to spend our anniversary than to be outside in this peaceful place with our pup, dancing to our favorite music by the fire, playing in the water, chasing sunsets, watching the stars, and reminiscing about our wedding day in the North GA Mountains.

Camping - Cloudland Canyon
We camped this weekend with Volkswagen Clubs, Atlanta Vanagon Club and PeachState Transporters. Nick Carse joined with his Vanagon and Bliss and her dog, Barker stopped by for a visit. We shared stories of our vans/buses and shared a community pot luck for dinner.
