One of my favorite details from my wedding was my nephew, Foster, in the wagon pictured below. I have 5 nephews - all of which were to make the stroll down the aisle. One problem, Foster is 2. How can we ensure a successful completion of this task? A wagon!
We were married in the mountains at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA. The wagon fit perfectly in our laid back event with simple decor centered around nature - the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.
The wagon was my brother-in-laws from childhood. The wood was taken from my Great Grandfather's barn in Blue Ridge, SC. My mom went to the barn and found these pieces. My dad attached the two pieces of wood and added hooks on the top piece for connecting to the wagon. Foster was pulled down the aisle by Henry (his brother & my silly nephew). I now hang this precious wedding remnant in our bedroom. This wedding detail is a great reminder of our beautiful day and Foster's successful trip down the aisle...all the while, melting hearts and receiving "ahh's" and giggles from our guests on his small journey.
